City Council Ad-Hoc and Standing Committees are not adopted policies contained in the FY 2023-25 Council Priority Workplan, effective May 1, 2023.

BACKGROUND
Pursuant to San Pablo Municipal Code Section 2.16.070, the Mayor makes all City Council assignment recommendations, which are then affirmed by majority vote of the City Council to become effective. On January 16, 2024, the City Council approved all City Council assignments for Calendar Year 2024 by majority vote via Resolution 2024-007.

New City Council Temporary Ad-Hoc Subcommittee (CY 2024)
Currently, there is an operational need to establish a new City Council Ad-Hoc Subcommittee to develop business and policy recommendations to the City Council related to project feasibility for the following focus areas, as follows:

* External Technology Feasibility Projects: Potential projects, including but not limited to: Internet Service Provider (ISP) public/private partnerships; New EV Infrastructure Feasibility & Investment Projects (Public/Private); City-wide Public Fiber Project (Phase II)
* Internal Technology Feasibility Projects: Potential projects, including but not limited to: A.I. Local Government Pilot Program (FY 2024-25);
