BACKGROUND
The City Manager's Office received an invitation from the Lytton Casino and Lifelong Medical Care announcing the 2022 San Pablo Lytton Casino Annual Golf Tournament and Fundraiser Event to benefit Lifelong Medical Care scheduled on Monday, September 12, 2022 at the Richmond Country Club Golf Course in Richmond, CA (see attached event flyer).
Support of the Lifelong Medical Care is consistent with the City's major policy goal of having health care readily available for its residents. LifeLong Medical Care is dedicated to ensuring that everyone regardless of their ability to pay, has access to high-quality health and social services in Contra Costa, Alameda and Marin County. Each year, LifeLong Medical Care provides health services to more than 52,000 patients within the three counties and 75% are below the Federal Poverty Level.
Each year, the Lytton Casino solicits corporate sponsors for its annual event, and through this resolution, the City of San Pablo would pledge its support for a $5,000 corporate sponsorship for the Annual 2022 Lytton Casino Golf Tournament and Fundraiser to benefit LifeLong Medical Care on Monday, September 12, 2022.
