This action is not applicable under the FY 2021-23 Council Priority Workplan, effective March 15, 2021; although, the San Pablo Advisory Committee on Aging is a long-standing committee dedicated to issues surrounding seniors and aging in our community.

BACKGROUND
The San Pablo Advisory Committee on Aging currently has three vacancies. Ms. Dorothy Gantt is a current and active member of the Committee whose term expired in February 2021. Ms. Gantt wishes to remain on the Committee and has filed the attached application. As being a member of the Advisory Committee is not a public office as defined under State law, there is not an incompatibility with her public office as City Clerk. There are no other applications on file in the City Clerk’s Office of people wishing to serve on this Committee.
The Notice of Vacancies on the Advisory Committee, as well as vacancies on other Boards and Commissions continues to be posted at City Hall, the Local Access Channel 26, Newsletter, and on the City website.
