FY 2018-2021 Council Priority Workplan Compliance Statement
By updating the Zoning Ordinance and facilitating wireless access for San Pablo residents and businesses, the proposed Ordinance would help to promote the City Council Major Policy Goal of Economic Development and Diversification, Priority 410, Facilitate future Smart City 5G S.P.E.E.D. Network projects, policies, and services under the adopted FY 2019-21 Council Priority Workplan, most recently amended November 2, 2020.
CEQA Compliance Statement
The proposed amendment has been determined to be categorically exempt from the provisions of CEQA, in accordance with CEQA Guidelines Section 15305 Minor Alterations in Land Use Limitations as well as with Section 15061(b)(3) General Rule with no potential for causing a significant effect on the environment.
PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
A Public Hearing Notice was published in the West County Times (West Contra Costa edition of the East Bay Times) newspaper on January 9, 2021. The Planning Commission also held a public hearing on the proposed amendments on December 15, 2020, which was noticed in the West County Times (West Contra Costa edition of the East Bay Times) newspaper on December 5, 2020.
