BACKGROUND
Street Lighting and Landscape Assessment District No. 1982-1 provides funding for servicing and maintenance of street lighting, landscaping, parks and public facilities, including City Hall and the Senior Center. Each year, the City is required to have an Engineer's Report prepared and filed with the County in order to collect the assessments. The engineering firm of LCC Engineering & Surveying, Inc. (LCC) has provided these services since the formation of the assessment district in 1982. This resolution initiates the preparation of the Engineer's Report for Fiscal Year 2020/21.

In FY 2020/21, new improvements or substantial changes include:

> Streetlight improvements (additional illumination in various areas)
> Concept design and community input for 1701 Bush Ave Pocket Park
> Wanlass Park playground replacement
> Hydration stations at Davis and Wanlass Parks
> Landscape improvements at Davis Park, Rumrill Sports Park, Wanlass Park and the San Pablo Community Center
