City Council/Local Successor Agency Regular Meeting Calendar is NOT an applicable adopted policy item under the FY 2019-21 Council Priority Workplan, effective March 1, 2019, but is required for efficient city operations.

BACKGROUND
Prior to each Calendar Year, the City Council/Local Successor Agency routinely adopts a regular meeting calendar which is approved by majority vote via minute action. For Calendar Year 2019, the City Council/Local Successor Agency approved their regular meeting schedule by majority vote via minute action on October 1, 2018 (Agenda Item #18-330) (see attachment).

Proposed Changes to Meeting Calendar 2019
Due to operational considerations and to ensure proper coverage by the City Manager's Office, the regular City Council/Local Successor Agency meeting previously scheduled on Monday, November Council 4, 2019 will require cancellation. In its place, the City Council is requested to schedule a Special City Council meeting on Monday, October 28, 2019 at 6:00 pm based on City Councilmember optimum meeting availability. Special City Council meetings may be scheduled from time to time due to operational considerations in accordance with San Pablo Municipal Code Section 2.16.040. Therefore, to effectuate this operational change for internal agenda planning purposes, the City Council/Local Successor Agency will be asked to modify the previously adopted Calendar Year 2019 regular meeting schedule by majority vote via minute action this evening.
