BACKGROUND
The Annual National Night Out for 2019 is scheduled for Tuesday, August 6, 2019. The San Pablo Police Department organizes the nation-wide Annual National Night Out event on behalf of the City of San Pablo which enhances the relationships between all residents and law enforcement as part of the Department’s current community policing programs planned in FY 2019-20.
The event will be held in the San Pablo Community Center from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Following City Council approval of this Proclamation request, the City Council will bestow the adopted Proclamation to the San Pablo Police Department as scheduled on the posted agenda this evening due to City operational timeline requirements.
FISCAL IMPACT
No direct fiscal impact other than staff time involved in preparation of the proclamation.
