BACKGROUND
The Citizens Oversight Committee for Measures Q and K consists of at least five (5) members who shall either be San Pablo residents or representatives of San Pablo businesses. The Committee reviews and reports on all revenues and expenditures received by the City through Measures Q and K to ensure such revenues are spent by the City in the manner consistent with the voter-approved measures.
In addition to an existing vacancy on this Committee, a new vacancy has occurred for the Committee due to the passing away of member Leonard McNeil.
As such, the vacancy notice will be revised to solicit applications for the two vacancies from eligible members of the community to fill the positions, with the first review of applications received by June 3, 2019. The interviews of applicants are expected to be conducted sometime during the week of June 17, 2019. The terms to be filled are four-year terms.
