BACKGROUND
The term of current member Evalinda Lucas expired in September 2018. A Notice of Vacancies has been posted since late August 2018.
Ms. Lucas desires to continue her service on the Committee and has demonstrated her commitment to the City since her appointment in September 2016 (see attached application). Ms. Lucas is a San Pablo resident.
The City Clerk’s Office also received an application from Dr. RanaLee Berman who is a San Pablo resident (see attached application)
With Ms. Lucas’ term expiration, there are currently three vacancies, and staff recommends reappointing Ms. Lucas for another two-year term and appointing Dr. Berman for a two-year term. That would leave one vacancy for a non-San Pablo resident member.
