BACKGROUND
On November 22, 2017 Andre Williams, President of SPBA, submitted a letter to the City Council requesting the waiver of fees for Davis Park Sport Fields (Youth Diamond/Sports Field and Mini Diamond/Sports Field) and the Davis Park Concession Stand on the following dates and times:
Davis Park Sport Fields (Youth Diamond/Sports Field and Mini Diamond/Sports Field)
* February 1, 2018 - July 12, 2018 on Monday - Friday
o 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
* February 1, 2018 - July 12, 2018 on Saturday - Sunday
o 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Davis Park Concession Stand
* February 1, 2018 - July 12, 2018 on Monday - Friday
o 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
SPBA has operated a volunteer-based youth baseball program in the City of San Pablo since 1955. This SPBA is a non-profit youth organization designed to help keep youth ages 4-16 off the streets by providing them with a safe, structured, adult supervised youth baseball program.
FISCAL IMPACT
The fiscal impact for FY 2018-19 (2018 spring season) will be a subsidized amount of $18,640 in rental revenue for Davis Park Sport Fields and Concession Stand.
