BACKGROUND
The City of San Pablo has a number of historic structures within the current City Hall complex including the Adobe Museum and the Blume, Bunk and Teixeira Houses. For many years, the San Pablo Museum & Historical Society (Society) has been informally managing the Adobe Museum, Blume House and Bunk House "(Museums").

The City and the Society now mutually desire to formalize an agreement for the Society to: provide Society-owned artifacts and antiques for display in Museums; develop and implement informational and educational programs, including the goal of instituting a Living History Program; provide staffing for the Museums as needed and docent training; and ensure supervision of visitors to the Museums during hours of public operations. Additionally, the City and Society may agree on other activities intended to promote and preserve the City's historical structures and programs.
In recognition of the value the Society provides to the City and community, the Agreement provides for an annual stipend to the Society of $5,000. The City budgets annually to cover the operating costs on ongoing maintenance, general liability, and insurance costs for the City's historic structures as part of the City's Annual General Fund ...
