BACKGROUND

In October, 2015, the City Council authorized the City Manager to execute a professional services agreement, as amended, with Moore Iacofano Goltsman (MIG) to provide contract planning services, including project review, planning advice and development services, for the City.

The agreement, as amended, authorized compensation for FY 2015/16 in the amount of $50,000. Staff is requesting an amendment to the agreement to increase the amount by $15,000 for a total agreement amount not to exceed $65,000. The agreement is being revised to cover an increase in costs due to an escalation in workload and projects in the Development Services-Planning Division.

FISCAL IMPACT

The total increase amount is $15,000, with a total agreement amount not to exceed $65,000. The agreement compensation will be paid from FY 2015/16 Development Services Professional Services line item (212-1755-43600).
