BACKGROUND
Government Code Section 50569 requires that on or before December 31st of each year, the City of San Pablo (the "City") and the Local Successor Agency (the "LSA") make inventories of all real property they hold, own, or control, and determine which property, if any, is in excess of their foreseeable needs.

Moreover, the statute provides that any citizen, limited dividend corporation, housing corporation, or nonprofit corporation, shall upon request, be provided with a list of the surplus properties without charge.

Inventories of all the properties owned by the City and the Local Successor Agency are set forth in Attachments C and D, along with a description of the current use or foreseeable need of each property.

With the proposed resolutions, the City and the LSA will be determining that none of the listed properties is "surplus" or in excess of foreseeable needs. The City Council previously deemed a portion of the Old City Hall site to be surplus property. That property is listed on the inventory of City properties.

FISCAL IMPACT
The proposed resolutions have no fiscal impact to the City or Local Successor Agency.
