The San Pablo Beacon Community Schools and Team For Youth Community Grant Program are adopted policy items under the FY 2019-21 Council Priority Workplan, effective March 1, 2019.

BACKGROUND
On July 1, 2019, the City Council passed a resolution (Resolution 2019-111) approving the annual Team For Youth Grant Program Funding plan for FY 2019/20 and 2020/21 as part of the San Pablo Beacon Community Schools Initiative (SPBCSI).
The City desires to engage a professional consultant to evaluate annually SPBCSI, which is tied to the San Pablo Team For Youth Grant Program, and other Measure Q-supported activities in San Pablo public schools. Public Profit has served in this capacity with the City previously and has the special training, skill, competence and expertise necessary to provide the services needed by the City. Additionally, the City desires to obtain services for Measure Q and Measure K reporting.
