BACKGROUND
Funding Source
The Supplemental Law Enforcement Services Grant Fund (SLESF) is a mandated grant as defined by Government Code Section 30061(b)(3)(i), wherein the County remits at minimum $100,000 annually to be spent on frontline law enforcement. The City currently has a balance of $182,484 available for appropriation from Fund 210 (SLESF).

Peregrine Technologies (“Peregrine”)
Peregrine is an advanced analytic platform which provides a quick, single point-of-access to view and analyze large-scale data from various data sources. Since 2018, the Peregrine team has worked directly with City staff to integrate various Police Department records management and operating systems, thereby allowing staff to efficiently access information from various sources within one secure, effective platform.
