BACKGROUND
Pursuant to San Pablo Municipal Code (SPMC) Section 2.16.030, the City Council meets regularly on the first and third Mondays of the month.

2026 Calendar of Regular City Council/Local Successor Agency Meeting Dates
For the ensuing month of October 2026, a regular meeting of the City Council is scheduled for Monday, October 19, 2026, pursuant to the 2026 Calendar of Regular City Council/Local Successor Agency Meetings Dates adopted via minute order on October 20, 2025 (See  Attachment).

City Manager Absence
Neither the City Manager nor the Assistant City Manager will be available to attend the October 19, 2026, regular meeting due to their scheduled attendance at the 2026 International City/County Management Association (ICMA) Annual Conference in Long Beach, California, on October 17–21, 2026. As a result, there will be no City Manager present at the scheduled regular City Council meeting (See SPMC Section 2.04.200). Additionally, the City Manager has received official notification from ICMA that he will be presented with a 35-year Service of Excellence Award during the Annual Conference, marking a significant career milestone.
