BACKGROUND
On May 1, 2017, City Council approved Resolution No. 2017-078, authorizing the City Manager to execute the first Tri-City Consortium agreement with the cities of Pinole and Hercules, whereby the City of Pinole Police Department provides dispatch communication services for the agencies, and the San Pablo Police Department provides IT personnel support in maintaining the IT infrastructure for Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), Records Management System (RMS) and related software systems.
On August 7, 2017, an inter-agency agreement between the City of San Pablo and the Contra Costa Community College District (District) Police Department was ratified by the San Pablo City Council, for the provision of dispatch services to the District through the Tri-City Agreement.
