FY 2025-27 City Council Priority Workplan
The Measure K and Measure S Citizens Oversight Committees Vacancies are not a specific priority included in the Adopted FY 2025-27 Council Priority Workplan, as amended April 7, 2025, but the Committee supports several of the adopted Major Policy Goals.
BACKGROUND
Pursuant to the terms of Measure K (adopted in June 2014) and Measure S (adopted in November 2020), these ballot measures adopted by local voters require the establishment of a Citizens' Oversight Committee (Committees) with at least five members. The members shall consist of San Pablo residents or representatives of San Pablo businesses.
Under the establishing ordinances and criteria set forth in Chapters 3.25 and 3.26 of the San Pablo Municipal Code, members of each Committee shall consist of San Pablo residents or representatives of San Pablo businesses. The purpose of the Committees is to review and report on the receipt of revenues and expenditure of funds received by the City from the tax authorized by Measures K and S to ensure such revenues are spent in a manner consistent with the voter-approved measures.
