BACKGROUND
A general municipal election was held and conducted in the City of San Pablo, County of Contra Costa, State of California, on Tuesday, the 5TH day of November 2024, as required by law. The Notice of Election was duly noticed and published in the local newspaper on July 3, 2024. The Contra Costa County Elections Department properly established the voting precincts where election officers were appointed and ensured that in all respects the election was held and conducted and the votes cast, received and canvassed and the returns made and declared in time, form and manner as required by the provisions of the Elections Code of the State of California for the holding of elections in cities.
The County Clerk of Contra Costa County canvassed the returns of the election and has certified the results. The Clerk's Certificate of Results and the Summary of Results for the General Municipal Election held in the City of San Pablo on November 5, 2024 declares the results of the election and other matters as prescribed by law and are marked as Exhibit A (City Councilmembers) and Exhibit B (Ballot Measure M).
In summary, the following votes were cast for the City Council for four-year terms as follows:
