PRESENTATION OF THE DRONE AS A FIRST RESPONDER (DFR) PROGRAM AND PENDING RFP, UTILIZING $195,000 IN SETTLEMENT FUNDS FROM NIGHTINGALE INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS, INC.

Recommendation
(1) Receive presentation; (2) Recommend formal consideration and approval by the City Council to ratify and accept a settlement agreement, with payment terms in the amount of $195,000, between Nightingale Intelligent Systems, Inc. and the City of San Pablo, and (3) Recommend formal consideration and approval by the City Council to authorize appropriation of the accepted payment to the Police Department’s FY 2026-27 operating budget, to fund the continued implementation of the DFR program.
