FY 2025-2027 Council Priority Workplan Compliance Statements:
Continue Best Management Practices, Fiscal Excellence, and Fiscal Transparency is a major policy goal contained in the adopted Fiscal Year 2025-2027 City Council Priority Workplan, effective April 7, 2025.
BACKGROUND
To support current needs and to provide financial services assessment and development, software assessment, and financial management services for consulting support from Eide Bailly LLP, an Accountancy Corporation, the Finance Department requests that the City Council authorize the Consulting Services Agreement with the firm, for a total contract amount not-to-exceed $100,000.
Budget, Fiscal & Legislative Standing Committee (BFLSC) Review
On May 28, 2025, the BFLSC (Pabon-Alvarado; Ponce) reviewed the FY 2025-26 Eide Bailly, LLC contract to be formally considered and approved by the City Council on June 2, 2025.
FISCAL IMPACT
The proposed Consulting Services Agreement effective July 1, 2025, in the amount of not-to-exceed amount of $100,000 to be funded from FY 2024-25 GFDR (Fund 110) fund to balance line item 100-1420-43600 to support the Finance Department operations during FY 2025-2026.
