FY 2023-2025 Council Priority Workplan Compliance Statements:

Continue Fiscal Resilience, Fiscal Excellence and Fiscal Transparency is an adopted City Council Priority contained in the adopted Fiscal Year 2023-2025 City Council Priority Workplan, effective May 1, 2023.

BACKGROUND

The City entered into its current Consulting Services Agreement with Krisch & Company, an Accountancy Corporation, effective August 1, 2024, in an amount not to exceed $39,690, with funding from Finance Department professional services budgeted funds (Account 100-1420-43600), for the provision of consulting for management and accounting services to the City as deemed necessary by City management.  The term of this agreement was set to expire on December 31, 2024.

On November 15, 2024, the City and consultant entered into the first amendment to the agreement for consulting services to modify the terms of the agreement related to its expiration date.  The term of the Agreement was extended and is currently set to expire on July 1, 2025.

To support current needs for continued consulting support from Krisch & Company, an Accountancy Corporation, the Finance Department requests that the City Council authorize a second amendment to the City’s existing Consulting Services Agreement with the firm, increasing the original payment limit of $39,690 by $69,799, to a total contract amount not-to-exceed $109,489, and also extending the term of the agreement through June 30, 2026.

FISCAL IMPACT

The proposed Amendment would increase the Consulting Services Agreement effective August 1, 2024, originally in the amount of $39,690, by an additional $69,799, for a new total not-to-exceed amount of $109,489.  The proposed increase in maximum compensation will be funded directly out of the Finance Department’s Professional Services budget (Account 100-1420-43600).
