FY 2023-25 City Council Priority Work Plan Compliance Statement
Major Policy Goals: Enhance Community Resilience and Build a Healthy Community are adopted policy items under the FY 2023-25 Council Priority Workplan, effective May 1, 2023.
BACKGROUND
On July 17, 2024, the City Manager’s Office received a letter from Dr. Kimberly R. Rogers, Contra Costa College President, requesting the waiver of rental fees for the use of the Community Hall at the San Pablo Community Center for the Annual Contra Costa College Managerial Retreat on August 15, 2024.
Contra Costa College has requested that the City waive the $795 rental fee for the use of the Community Hall for 7 hours. Contra Costa College will provide adequate liability insurance associated with the use of the facility. They will also pay for the cost of one Building Attendant required to be present throughout the event as well as the hourly maintenance fee.

FISCAL IMPACT
A total of $5,000 has been budgeted and earmarked for Citywide Fee Waivers under the adopted FY 2024-25 City Council Department (100-1110-44050). The authorized fee waiver in the amount of $795 will be deducted from this account leaving a remaining balance of $3,150 for the remainder of the FY 2024/25 period for future waiver and sponsorship authorizations by Council.
