COUNCIL PRIORITY WORKPLAN statement
Build a Healthy Community is a major policy goal in the recently adopted City Council Priority Work Plan FY 2023-25, adopted April 5, 2023.
BACKGROUND
On February 20, 2024, the City received a request from Ronnie Mills, District Coordinator for the Office of Supervisor John Gioia and member of the Contra Costa County Red Cross Leadership, to issue a proclamation acknowledging the month of March as American Red Cross Month.
On March 4, 2024, City Council approved this request and the proclamation is now being presented at this meeting.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact related to this agenda item other than staff time spent to create the Proclamation.
